Man I hope this is legit. ISIS is a plague.
If it's true, two things could happen. Another leader could spring up to take Baghdadi's place, or ISIS will crumble as Al Qaeda has since bin Laden's death.

Al Qaeda and ISIS and fundamentally different. Al Qaeda is organized. ISIS is like a pack of rabid dogs. The leader only held their leashes. Now that he's gonna, someone might grab the leashes or they will just go wild. Neither scenario is particularly attractive

I'm not sure.... I'm not very familiar with the ISIS chain if command, but they're the most successful modern Islamic terrorist organization, so their chain of command must be there?
But the slaughters and massacres carried out by these extremists won't stop any time soon.

Are they? I'm not very knowledgable of the specific ideological differences between them. I know ISIS wants to establish a single Sunni caliphate that encompasses the Muslim world, and they're insane savages. Not entirely sure what Al Qaeda wanted... World Jihad or something like that...
But, I'm not sure they're as wild as you say. They are in control of most of Iraq and Syria after all.

That'll be impossible because there will always be people connected to them in some way or another. Also, some of it is the U.S's fault because initially they supplied weapons to the rebels in order to fight the Syrian government. And these rebels join ISIS, obviously. Same shit that happened to Afghanistan and the Taliban.
