Nagato's chakra-sucking powers were crippling to two characters that derive their power from magic chakra, and just so happen to wear that magic chakra like clothes for Nagato to suck up with a touch.

Naruto surpassed Jiraiya's and Minato's mutual skills in Sage Mode, but he did not explicitly surpass them overall. Naruto even said he wasn't as powerful as Minato yet.

There actually isn't any such thing as Sage Art jutsu, Sage Mode just enhances what you already have. So while Naruto has Shadow Clones and Rasengan variants, Jiraiya has a plethora of more jutsus including sealing jutsus and summoning expertise, along with greater taijutsu and intelligence.

Yes, true. Kishi had to kill of Jiraiya. It was very important for the plot. And im actually glad i he. Lord Jiraiya had a true ninja death. And he died before the asspull edo shit started happening.

Minato's ghost also saved Pein who couldn't keep KN8 in Chibaku Tensei.

Naruto's Sage Mode ran out and he's really no match for many without Sage Mode, not to mention that he foolishly tried to cradle Fukasaku's corpse which left him open to Pein pinning him to the ground. Neither of these would have happened to Jiraiya, since his Sage Mode is unlimited and Fukasaku is fused to his shoulder. Not to mention that Naruto could had went Kyuubi Mode whenever he wanted but was trying not to rely on Kurama because it was trying to take him over.
