God, I really like Kabuto in Part I when it was revealed he was working for Orochimaru, especially because he seemed like he might have been considering working for Konoha. And he did heal Hinata for no ****ing reason.

Yeah, but this was about half an hour or so before the invasion. He had no reason to help her, honestly.

Okay...I have a crazy theory.

So we know that Kabuto is like, the second-best medic nin in the series (At least during Part I). We also know that his loyalty to Orochimaru is...strange (Orochimaru thought Kabuto would betray him frequently, and Kabuto even seemed like he would).

Kabuto mainly acts like he's 100% in Orochimaru's pocket after he helps with the invasion. Justified, since he has nowhere else to go at this point.

But don't you think the entire situation with Nono and Orochimaru is pretty suspicious?

I mean, if Kabuto hung out with Orochimaru for at least a week, he'd see how manipulative Orochimaru is. And we all know that Orochimaru kept an eye on Kabuto even before Kabuto joined Root (Which Oro also was a part of).

Now, do you really think Danzo would be keeping that close of an eye on the Kabuto situation? Considering the Third war was still going on?

No, he probably gave control of the situation to Orochimaru, in exchange for Hashirama cells for his arm. Orochimaru was the one who manipulated the pictures, and caused Kabuto to kill Nono. When Kabuto came to the conclusion it was Danzo, Orochimaru guided him along, and Kabuto was in the middle of grieving at the time.

After hanging out with Orochimaru, Kabuto soon realized there was more to the situation as first glance. Any thoughts?
