691 wasnt the most exciting chapters by any means but we did get a fair amount of progression and answers.

Madaras offically dead and any hope of him being FV again dead as well

Minato and naruto closure

Hashi and madz closure

Obito and kakashi closure as well as offical ending of kakashis sharingan era

And possible references to further battles. I dont know if im looking too far into this but hagormoo had a very sinister look at the end and after the departure of all past kages and how worn out everyone is, if theres a logical way at all to pull it off there could be another fight. No i do not think thats going to happen just analyzing the rumors being tossed around.

I do believe though, that we are not done with the manga just quite yet. Since the farewells are out of the way now they have to go about freeing everyone trapped in I.T. including tenten and those ninja tools that looked like were somehow being activated in some way. Since theyve had no part in the final fight at all i dont see why kishi would carelessly throw them in there and take up panel time. Probably hint at those towards the end of 692

But naruto and them dont know that, so probably hopefully soon in the next chapter or so, we'll hear sasukes true intentions and goals. Theres rumors that theres still 2 battles left in the manga possibly. Naruto v sasuke of course and hamura/hagormoo v all. Perhaps once sasukes true goals come out of his mouth that will start the naruto v sasuke battle which would make sense why sasuke didnt discuss it earlier.

But definately next chapter expect to see at least a hint towards the end about a new plot development with those ninja tools.

Naruto Vs Sasuke might happen...but to tell you the truth I'm tired of these fights...I wanted to see some relaxing scenes. The whole team seven meetings and their chat. Kakashi becoming late as well... Something like that.

I always thought thats how madara or kaguya was going to get sealed but those ships have passed so there has to be something else. Plus they looked like they were coming out of the scroll when tenten got sealed
