If you remember the itachi and sasuke fight Itachi and sasuke were almost out of stamnia.Adding someone like sakura (can heal/transfer chakra from far range) is perfect for sasuke.

Are people forgetting itachi "planned" his death at the hands of sasuke. And even obito admitted if itachi wanted sasuke dead, he would have been killed. Itachi wanted sasuke to think the fight was as close as it was, otherwise sasuke would have noticed something was going on.

the problem wouldn't have been chakra if itachi was serious about killing... though i agree duo wins if sakura is willing to remove her clothes... XD

Itachii isn't Byakugou Sakura in genjutsu.Byakugou continuously keeps transfering Sakura's chakra from her seal back to her body, thus distrupting her chakra.
