We saw in the latest chapter, Law was able to activate Room before a charging Gear 2 Luffy got very far. It's not like you can say he wasn't going at at least a decent speed either, because even though he wasn't intending to hit Law, he was intending to hit Doffy who'd be in that very same spot, meaning he'd have to have been moving at enough speed to build up enough energy and momentum to damage Doflamingo.

He did activate it pretty fast but at the same time, that was part of their plan so Law was a little prepared for Luffy coming at him like that. Room was faster in that scenario, but in the case where Law and Luffy aren't planning such a devastating team attack, I'm still unsure

if that the case he could have smacked doflamin who was outspeeding him i think its just like the others said he was preparred so he knew luffy is coming

Then explain how the superior Doffy wasn't able to blitz this Shambles, especially if Luffy was moving slow or not using Soru like you said.

Luffy had to have been moving at high speed since he planned to smash Doffy.

Well yeah, he probably was moving fast but definately not as fast as you think considering that while Luffy was running him and Law had a short dialogue and Trebol had the time to just sit there and talk shit.

Not to mention saying that DD should've been able to blitz this since Vergo could aswell is a ridiculous claim. Law used shambles on his heart that Vergo had and Vergo manage to blitz him right after he touched it whereas in this case Law switched places with DD and put his body in front of Luffy the moment Luffy was about to punch DD.

Two completely different scenarios.

It's situations like this that are hard to get a good sense of time when it happens in the manga.
Doubt it though, the Room seems to take time (even if a short amount) to expand whereas Luffy is just like *badump* done.
