IDC what anybody says, if it is filler, and has nothing to do with the original storyline, then yes, that is understandable.
But I Think if an anime ep has to do with filler then I believe it is canon.

Pain VS Naruto.
In the manga it is said thoe who can use the rinnigan can gain mastery over the 5 basic elements. When Pain created that huge lake, I think it canon, he controls the rain, the forces of gravity, life and death, him making a lake is justifiable

He was shooting wind blasts out of his hands, he can control wind, so why not. Him gliding throught the air, if he is using the rinningan powers for that, I don't see why not, he does have control over the repulsive and attraction of gravity, maybe he was can cause himself to be light enough to glide.

Obito VS Kakashi
Its expected that Obito would be a little better at taijutsu than kakashi, I mean, he is one of the main antagonists at that point. In the manga, It made it seem like kakashi had him beat mid diff. But in the anime it went more into detail of what was happening. Obito was kicking ass. Yea, Kakashi got some good hits in (lightning clone) but ultimately that's how the battle should have gone. We all know Obito let akakshi stab him anyway.

How I see it is all the anime fights do is show what the manga artist could not. The anime expresses tones much better than the manga does thanks to colors, music, and ability to add more movement to the character. The manga oinly highlights the key parts of a battle, the anime shows what happened in between, unless the arc or episodes are filler, anime is canon to me

You can believe it's canon all you want. It's still filler to everyone else.

Maybe what happened in the anime are canon and in the manga those that happened in the anime were skipped?

No true, because not everyone agrees with you. Come on, aren't you supposed to speak the absolute truth?

I should have been more specific. Everyone but the Obito fans who clicked the thread.

If it contradicts the manga in any way, it's filler. However, if it doesn't contradict the manga, fits into the timeline, and is based on manga facts I say we can accept it as canon.

I don't disagree, OP.
but the instances U listed have no separate Implications.
nagato has no need of elemental ninjutsu...
so what obito was winning at times...

The main point of filler is to fill in the blanks the original source didn't cover. For the stuff that fits in very well I consider it part of the story line even though it isn't from the original source material.

Look at it this way, once a anime is 100% complete, chances are a good chunk of people will only watch the anime and not even touch the manga or LN, so for them everything in the anime will be considered part of the whole story line.
