[Theory] Sasuke wants to get rid of the Bijuu

If there are 2 things I have learned about Kishi (in regards to his writing/story-telling in Naruto), it is that he rarely - if EVER - wastes frames/manga space. Also, I don't believe he could end Naruto properly based off of what has transpired in regards to the main characters as well as most of the important supporting cast/characters.

As Jimihendrix alluded to, this recent chapter tells us more about Sasuke then it does Naruto or anyone else IMO. Sasuke doesn't even speak during the chapter, but as Kishi does so well - we can learn more that way. Here is what we already know:

- Sasuke chose to fight alongside Naruto + Allied Shinobi Force, so he could change the system that was implemented by the previous Kage.

- Sasuke believes his beloved brother Itachi was a victim of their (Hokage's) "crappy" system and along with that is the obvious hatred he has toward the Tailed Beasts.

This is where I believe the next and final story arc will revolve around:

- Kishi can approach this in several different ways and directions. Obviously Naruto would want (and for the most part NEEDS in order to stay alive) the Tailed Beasts to be a part of the "New System". Sasuke does not.

- This is where the newly revived and secondary characters come in. Kishi had to get rid of the previous Hokage, otherwise they obviously side with Naruto and anyone who opposes them has less than a 0% chance of success. :heh:

Every MAJOR Villain and for the most part Every MAJOR Story/Arc revolved around 1-2 premises. 1.) Naruto sticking to his Ninja Way and overcoming the odds, and 2.) Naruto learning that in order to stick to his Ninja Way and/or defeat the Villain(s), the "Shinobi System" or the current "Shinobi and Hidden Village System" MUST be changed or people such as Pain/Nagato, Madara, Orochimaru, Itachi, Danzo, etc... will ALWAYS exist or come to be.

I apologize if I got so off-topic. Regardless, I do believe as Jimihendrix pointed out, what SO6P / Rikudou Sennin said to Sasuke and Naruto regarding listening/taking a good, FINAL look at their predecessors was meant as a Cautionary Tale of working together like they did to defeat Kaguya instead of what I believe will lead to Sasuke (not necessarily having a change of heart) doing the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of that advice which leads to Naruto and Sasuke - once again - on Opposing Sides.

how is this different from the OP? i feel like the most important panel in this chapter was Sasuke seeing Madara on the floor after the Bijuu were extracted

Let's clear up something.

This manga is ending as in Naruto the manga. The next project called "The Last" has been called a spoiler title. The franchise is not ending. There is a confirmed time skip.

Spoilers imply there is another fight to be had. Also: Sasuke vs. Naruto. Also, FORESHADOWING:

-Sai didn't trust Sasuke 2.0
-Shikamaru did NOT trust Sasuke 2.0 at all
-Sakura gave him a few weird looks
-And finally "Burn it down... I'll get rid of this twisted system and Sasuke's inner thoughts as Naruto tells him to spare the TBs.

My 2 yen: OP is right on. Sauce plans to exterminate the TBs and Hagoromo.

Remember how the sage spoke with both naruto and sasuke?

The sage thought that he made a mistake by creating the bijuu because instead of being used to maintain balance they were used as weapons. Naruto disagreed with him but we don't know what sasuke said to that.

It's possible that sasuke agreed with the sage that he was being naive. If so, then the next arc could focus on the fight between naruto and sasuke.

For all we know, the sage may take the bijuu with him or dissolve them somehow thus leaving naruto(with only half of kurama) vs. sasuke. That would even up the battle for them.

Naruto has never had 100% Kurama chakra (Yin + Yang) so the Naruto we seen during this war was 50%. Sasuke does not stand a chance against him currently (pseudo juubi jin Naruto) so I agree with u on the point that the Sage might take the bijuu with him or something like that..

Thsi naruto was 50% plus the other bijuu chakra he had. All the bijuu chakra together, I'm guessing(even in fragments) is what gave him his rikudou sage mode....all that together makes him overpowered to fight sasuke.

If he just had his half of kurama and all the other stuff was taken, then naruto would go back to his BSM(bijuu sage mode) he had when he was fighting obito earlier. This power(still incredibly OP) I think is about equal to sasuke with PS.

yea... even if Sasuke kept his BS one-eye Rinnegan, BSM Naruto with 50% kurama chakra is still more than a match for him. Rikudou mode Naruto is basically Jesus Christ

You're right that naruto obv needs his 50% kurama or else he dies. So, that's a given. But I don't think you should dismiss the idea that the sage might take all the rest of the bijuu and do something with them so that they can no longer be abused.

Naruto and sasuke still all got the powers they got from hagoromo only lost the seals.

Also i bet the tailed beasts outside of naruto will merge with the ones inside naruto and go with him cuz they like him just like how they loved hagoromo.

And it will stay that way till Naruto dies and then i bet he will put them somewere they cant be used for war again.

I agree with the premise of this post and as I stated in my post, I do believe the next part to be all about Sasuke and Naruto dueling it out over what the new "Shinobi and Village" System should be.

I do however disagree with Sasuke having the power to make it happen. If you are talking about a clear 1v1 scenario then it might be different, but the odds are OVERWHELMINGLY in Naruto's favor.

- Naruto MIGHT be weaker, slower, less intelligent and less in the know....BUT everyone (other then Orochimaru, Kabuto, and his team) is still going to back Naruto. I will take A, Bee, Tsunade, Kakashi, Gai, the other current Kage, and pretty much the entire Allied Force over Sasuke, Oro, Kabuto and Team-Taka any day. (Keep in mind you mentioned Orochimaru, so if we assume he is alive, we can assume most or all of the others are as well)

- Not to mention the sheer power of 8 and a half (counting Kurama as a half ) or 9 Tailed Beasts just surrounding all of them who will clearly pounce on Sasuke if he were to engage Naruto.

Now this is obviously a theory and I am only going off of what you gave. All of this, including your theory about Sasuke is just that. They are both theories....ESPECIALLY when you add in, as you mentioned, the Time-Skip.

You assume that everyone will be in Naruto's side, but how can you be so sure? Everything that has happened has been because of the bijuus, I bet you a lot of people will want them gone and agree with Sasuke.
