I think Kishi messed up by how he did Itachi's death. How Itachi let Sasuke kill him.

Now he has people thinking Itachi is invincible because there was no one who actually defeated Itachi.

Although anyone with a brain knows he is not invincible, Kishi should have just let Sasuke kill him like a regular ninja battle and not Itachi letting himself get killed.
