Evidence.

My second piece of evidence comes from the movie "Road to Ninja", but not how you might imagine. At first, you might think I'm talking about when Obito and Itachi faced off and Obito ran, and yes this plays a part into my findings but it's not the epicenter of truth.
The final evidence I would like to present is Itachi being the leader of Akatsuki in the movie. This means more then people would care to admit. One, Akatsuki existing means the group must of followed the same events as the original timeline up until the point an event would occur altering leadership and ambition. This event most likely being Itachi, convincing Nagato to help, overthrew the limited Tsukiyomi's Obito. This is sort of concluded when Obito faces Itachi and knows he's out matched. If Obito knew Itachi had no clue about his abilities I think he would of took him on.
