[Discussion] "Part 3" Naruto (series)

With the way things are currently being showed, considering Naruto has turned 17 and the seemingly end of the generation of Madara and Akatsuki, along with the impending "The Last" time skip, it is time to ask about the big elephant in the room.

Do you personally think there is going to be a Part 3 Naruto series ? That will take place after the events of "The Last" since Kishimoto is going through ridiculous depths of character designs for everyone in his series to a full matured adolescence appearance.

I dont think so. I guess the movie is to wrap up the loose ends or something entirely different. I can assure that there wont be part 3 'cause they just finished the fight with chakra ancestor(kaguya). I dont think there will be a villain powerful than her.

Way to get Naruhina fans riled up with fanart......its so funny when I see Naruhina fan art that takes Hinata personality out of the question just to make her fit with Naruto.

But anyways.......no there won't be a part 3, at least not in the manga.

The manga is ending soon, right after the naruto vs sasuke, then we'll get an epilogue chapters......the movies probably take place between the naruto vs Sasuke and the epilogue chapters.

I don't think Kishi is going to ruin serious manga readers by forcing them to watch movies to see the true ending.

Kakuya needed the army to help her battle her two sons.....is probably the most logical answer, since they are the only one that could resist IT.

Also the new era project is just a bunch of movies, the manga will still most likely end.

Hamura doesn't have a Rinnigan and Hagoromo was dead. She was saving up chakra for " that time" as Black Zetsu point.

Hamura not having the rinnegen doesn't mean he couldn't resist, these two Sage had powers we can't even imagine. Hagoromo spoke of his mother using IT, his past tense context suggest he was alive, and his Mother used it while he was alive. Saving up chakra most likely to take back the chakra of her sons. The mere fact that black zetzu was alive during the time of Kakuya first sealing suggests that she was using IT already.

The whole Kishi saying it would end in 2014 was false, but Kishi mentioning Naruto is at its final phase is true, to the fact when it is actually ending is up for grabs. But going by storyline I don't see anything super significant beside Naruto vs Sasuke, and then Naruto becoming Hokage.
