I feel bad for Sasuke

Sasuke has the hardest life story of any Naruto character.

Sasuke adored his mother and admired his father. At 7 years old he watched them die at the hands of his brother And was forced to watch it for 72 hours over and over again.
When Sasuke finally gains closure, he learns that his brother's death at his hands was futile.

Now before I hear Naruto or gasra, let me explain something.
Gasra knew his father and didn't care much when he was killed. Naruto and Gaara's parents have been edo'd and or with them. Sasuke never got the grace of having his parents revived to say a farewell or even speak. When his parents died, they died right before his eyes.

Not very debatable about the sadness of this.

Never stated when or if Kakashi knew his mom
Sasuke killed his own brother.
Sasuke had no friends, to even out the pain he lived alone from 7 to 17
Sasuke lost all of his family including cousins, grandmothers, etc

They both had their fathers until 13 at least and both never were alone. Gaara's siblings and Itachi's Akatsuki. I explained this already. Itachi did not care for his clan much

For the same period of time people called Naruto a demon (till he was about 10-11), Sasuke was called, that uchiha kid, and Itachi's brother, as well as watching his parents murdered by his brother.

What's worse, Severe Bullying with the third hokage acting as your guardian, or watching your entire family die hundreds of times by the hands of your brother, and living completely alone after that

Gaara's father did not die until the invasion of Konoha, where he didn't even notice his father died. He has a watered down version of Naruto's story, with the dark elements of Sasuke's but they don't compare.

Other than that I sort of agree. I think it's definitely worse than Naruto's , but debatable with other characters.

You didn't explain it well. Gaara grew up being hated and feared by everyone in his village. His father sent assassins to try and kill Gaara many times and even made Gaara's uncle who he thought was the only person who cared for him to try and kill Gaara and to say cruel things to Gaara making Gaara think he had no reason to live then he settled to the idea that killing gave him a purpose plus he had Shukaku influencing him as he called Shukaku his mother. He also couldn't sleep or Shukaku could gain control so his mind was effected as much as well.

Sasuke didn't have to go leave Konoha to get Itachi, he could have stayed in Konoha, trained with Gai, Kakashi, Asuma, Kurenia to improve his skills and go after Itachi with team 7 when the time was right. Also Sasuke isn't the only person who had their clan wiped out, lets not forget about Haku, Kimimaru, Juugo, Uzumaki to an extent.

Sasuke chose to embrace the darkness and suffering, is why other's pasts are placed above him. It's all subjective in the end.

I find Naruto's and Gaara's the worst because they had no choice and were completely in the dark about why they were hated. To be a small child and have to go through that persecution... People wishing you dead, treating you like a disease, and completely berating your existence is unbearable, but to be only a kid and not know why? You know the identity crisis and psyche-shattering impulses brought up because of something you can't control? It's a fate I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

More than that, Sasuke had the entire village behind and people more than willing to help him. That's obviously not the same as the ties of family, but it's better than nothing, which is what Sasuke chose. Naruto, Gaara, Kakashi, and Itachi had it the worst IMO, but Sasuke's is horrible as well.

There's a lot of heart-wrenching stories in this manga. Naruto, Gaara, Kakashi, Itachi, Sasuke, Sasori, Haku, Zabuza, Kimimaro, Obito, Neji, Hinata, Yahiko, Konan, Tsunade, Nagato, Kabuto, Yamato, Hashirama, Madara, Tobirama... I'm leaving a ton out, but you get it. To say which you feel is absolute worst is pretty opinionated.
