This Manga is close to it's ending...I am hoping someone will return after all the strong ones depart. Like we really had enough of the past sticking it's nose to this matter. Naruto really needs to talk this through with Kaguya to earn eternal peace!!!

They were talking about the powers he recieved from the sage. Sasuke still has his rinnegan though so naruto must have his powers still

I find the sage being the FV(the way he look, his smile at the end of chapter690 etc. etc.)one of the dumbest theories, opinions etc etc.. members on this site came up with and Madara being the FV was the second. Dude had the strongest TB extracted from him and members thought he was going to shake that off and continue to live or live as long as obito did after his TB extracted, that would have been a a**pull worse than kakashi using PS

Kaguya is most likely coming back. Didn't you see the ten tailed Rabbit separate from the Gedo Mazo along with the other tailed beast?

The final phase is the new era project. That was even said in the movie trailer.

It isnt over yet... Too many holes to fill in. Saskue hasnt acknowledged Naruto as his equal. And it makes no difference to me whether he does or not. Neither does it matter to me what Saskue fans perceive concerning Naruto. In the end the manga is called "Naruto". With that in mind how could you end the manga without filling in the holes... I guess it doesnt matter to Kishi either if he fails to do so.

It had more to do with Hagoromo having his brother's seal and how he was forgotten in history. Some people the Hamura is sealed in the gourd.

The whole thing reeks of Part 3 (but well that is just my point of view). The Manga will end before the film hits the cinemas, then Naruto 7 will be the epilogue of Part2 and the Prologue of Part 3. Maybe we will get a few months up to one year of creative break from Kishimoto and then new manga with adult rookies, Hokage Kakashi and new stuff.

Obviously Hagoromo isn't a villain, that theories flooding the base last week were downright retarded.

But from this chapter, I also don't see any other villain emerge. Of course, Kishi can always decide on a part 3 with a totally new storyline, but for now, it really feels like th story is ending. We are already in the middle of wrapping things up, Madara/Hashirama-closure, the Edos departing, Minato/Naruto-closure. Also, Naruto's birthday is now there, with the light of the new day emerging - this is a very common symbol of a battle being over.
