Chapter 691 (Emotional view)

Many of you can agree that today's chapter was full of feels.. well I've read some thread in which people say that it was totally lame and stuff.. For those people I want to say that the fight is over (for a while at least)! So let's put the action beside and focus on the emotional part.
First thing's first I want to put some of the panels I think are sad:

1) Madara's expressions

Let's say even if he's a villain and did a lot of bad.. These expressions break his stereotype and we see the man (friend) who he once was...

2) The next one is Obito:

The man full of regrets and his best friend who forgives him... Once severed bound is healed and they say farewell not as enemies but as friends :O

3) The "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" part!

I'm pretty sure many of you didn't even remember that the war took place on 9-10th October. And even the man who was brought back to life knew the date :O I think that was lovely...

4) So I'm getting close to the part where people's opinion splits in half .. The farewell of Father and son (Minato and Naruto) vs. the farewell of brothers (Itachi and Sasuke)
I'm not going to start versus thing about which was the most dramatic one...

Yes, I agree that Itachi's farewell was really dramatic! Hearing those words from the brother when you just heard about his dramatic past is really emotional.. And I know that Itachi made us cry many times. (When Sasuke killed him, when he killed his parents, his last farewell)...

But the farewell of not long seen Father and Son is emotional as hell too.

Naruto's crying face...C'mon they've only seen each other for two times T_T the rushed thing Naruto was saying before his father was gone :''( Yeah that's dramatic too....

So in the end my purpose of Posting this thread was to view today's chapter's emotional side and I think I made it!

Please don't criticize...

It may have been a bad climax but this was a good chapter. The dialogue for each character is appropriate.

next chapter will also be emotional no doubt.....but honestly to me to madara didn't seem to break character that much...to me it seem as if his comment implied he thought of all this as a game. saying he should have been more optimistic only so he could have won.

naah tell you the truth I'm not emotionally weak and I barely even cry but this chapter totally touched my heart.. and + thinking that manga is getting close to the end doubles the emotional side of the chapter

That's why I said that both of them are almost equal, in my opinion... Itachis was more painful though

Same here too! I started crying even from the begining of that panel! I just knew Naruto will be crying like crazy in the end and it always breaks my heart when I see his crying face! Actually I can't really see someone cry! Serious I don't have the heart to see someone crying!
