it was emotional as hell man, he told his father to confirm that he did had done as she wanted for her last wish. to tell her he is living a good life the life she wanted for him.

IMO naruto telling a summarised version of what he said in this chapter
and then giving minato a hug whilst saying goodbye with minato fading away.

^^ that would of been better imo + naruto would of seemed like he had matured after this war.

Oh well...not saying this chapter wasn't emotional, but it had the potential to be a lot more emotional

It was done very well. I don't know which chapter you were reading. Kishimoto basically had Naruto speak the answer to his mother's wishes. He was an infant and here he is responding to her wishes. This chapter was very emotional,

if you payed attention you would have noticed what he was doing. he had minato confirm all the things he did or didn't do which kushina wanted for him. it was perfect for that situation and made sense that he would do so. he never really had the chance to do that with kushina because she faded away to soon after telling him. so it wasn't a ramble. some of you people criticize things for no good reason.

My thoughts exactly. I know what kishi was trying to do to parallel what kushina told naruto but it was so damn annoying. Naruto is really starting to get on my nerves now so the sending off wasn't emotional at all for me. The ending could not come any earlier.

It's a reworking of Kushina's goodbye and her taking all the time to say goodbye, instead of a baby Naruto there was Minato.
