Whilst that's true, Obito is one of the main reasons why Sasuke's childhood sucked in the first place!(as his kyuubi attack indirectly lead to the uchiha massacre.) So yeah.

Well Naruto did said Obito is the coolest guy he knew, the same guy who is responsible for death of Naruto's parents and countless ninja who died in that 9 tails incident, partly responsible for Uchiha massacre which made life hell for Sasuke, akatsuki, partly responsible for the death of Yahiko, manipulating Sasuke & Nagato, killings of jin.s, Ninja war 4, killing countless ninja in the war including Neji, reviving Juubi and the list goes on.
