we all know sasuke has a hidden agenda.. and what that agenda is we don't FULLY know but we do know he wants to kill the bijuu and rewrite hoe the kage system is made. its possible hagoromo brought all the kage here so sasuke can kill them... or something. what that would accomplish I don't know but you get the point just a theory.

amaterasu has to this date successfully harmed two individuals. one being a snake(which wasnt even the intended target ) and bijuu mode bee who escaped unscathed. amaterasu dosent have enough credibility as pest control to even be considered able to harm spirits,much less spirits so powerful they were selected to aid a god level character
