Sasuke can only become hokage if..

I only see Sasuke becoming hokage if Naruto is given a leadership position over all the kages. The title Kamikage, "God Kage" seems fitting.

This is only if Kishimoto decides to make up a new title for Naruto or if he makes Naruto and Sasuke co-hokages. I also believe that Sasuke will have to be talk no jutsu'd by Naruto in order for him to get any sort of leadership position.

what if he just abolishes the ninja system all together with sasuke by his side, leaving no one able to become hokage...this way of things has caused a lot of problems for the whole world, and Naruto and Sasuke definitely have noticed that things have been bad for a while. I mean the end of every saga has Naruto changing someone's mind about the Ninja system, so why wouldn't he continue this just on larger platform now that he's saved the world......

What I was thinking exactly. If it was down to just Naruto vs Sasuke for position of hokage, Naruto's obviously going to get it. That was his main goal for the entire series.

It doesn't matter what role Naruto gets, it's the council that nominates the Hokage candidate with the Fuedal lord choosing among the options and it's the Jounins who vote wheather the the candidate is acceptable. No one in Konoha trust Sasuke as shown with the K11 members such as Shikamaru, Kiba, and Shino all saying he was their enemy and how they can't forget his pass and even when Sasuke was helping them Shikamaru said he wouldn't turn Sasuke away if he's helping but he doesn't want to acknowledge him and Shikamaru is a pretty influencial person in the K11 and in the alliance as he was helping to give them hope at one point and Temari said he would be a great Hokage and Shikamaru said he'll be Naruto's advisor.

So unless Sasue change and get accepted by Konoa over time, he has no chance of being selected as Shikamaru would be the next choice after Naruto and Konohamaru probably after Shikamaru if a Naruto is given a higher role.​

I see the title going back to kakashi not shikamaru.
