Why is there no official character design for sasuke yet in the naruto the last movie... i don't understand.

Because Sasuke is usually a game changer when it comes to Naruto. Of course Naruto will be shown and other characters get shown since thy probably won't be as relevant as Sasuke. So showing Sasuke now could potentially spoil something due to his appearance.

Either that or he's dead but I don't think that's the case. At least, I hope it's not.

Not important to the movie (like RtN) or not in it at all. My guess is he dies in the final battle, so only his headstone maybe in the movie, possibly a flashback, form which you don't need new character designs.

They saving Sasuke for last lol ...... cause he has changed so much as a character but they did release designs for Naruto, Sakura, Sai, Shikamaru, Rock Lee, and Gaara and I actually like Gaara's new design.

I doubt that people would buy the manga because of Sasuke. People deal with enough failures in daily life already. I doubt that they would want to pay money to read about one if Sasuke was really the main interest that people had in buying the manga.
