just because they wanted Sasuke to kill Obito doesn't mean they're going to drop everything and side with Sasuke over Naruto at the drop of a hat. No one but Naruto, Kakashi, and Minato wanted him left alive. Obito didn't mean jack to anybody else, especially considering he tried to kill them. If the situation allowed for it to happen, they would just as soon cheer anybody who would finish Sasuke off if he was laying where Obito was. It's not like everybody suddenly forgot what he did either.
