Yup he is dead...they showed Hashirama looking at his dead body...besides even if he was alive, there is nothing he can do...Rikudou, the four hokages, other former kages, Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi and the nine biju are too much for Madara.

You think that it matters if somebody just got Juubi extracted in Naruto? Obito got stabbed through the heart, sliced in the stomach, used gedo rinne tensei, got gedo mazo and juubi extracted and then he got 50% kurama extracted and he was still fine.

Where's the breathing SFX? VIZ states that that SFX (in the scan provided by the OP) translates to "R-r-r-r-rumble". So are you saying VIZ mistranslated it or removed it?
