How would the Pain invasion arc turn out, if Jman lived?

Scenario 1: Jiraiya survives the battle with pain, figuring out his identity, and sits around the village in the hospital, up until Pain's arrival. (He loses his arm, but his throat is fine)

Scenario 2: Jiraiya never goes after pain, and happens to be in the village when Pain comes to attack.

S1: he has 1 arm and cant talk so naruto would still have to defeat pain.

S2: He solos pain like he did before with SM naruto there just in case.

I should've made scenario 1 more clear, he gets his arm chopped, but has his throat intact...that was a fatal injury.

well either way Jman cant do much with 1 arm he could only take out 1-2 pains max and the rest is up to naruto.

Deva regains his powers. If they don't though, it's GG for both of them.

Scenario 2: The duo will probably lose. The lack of intel will waste precious time that
will allow Pain to stall until Deva comes back and Naruto runs out of SM. Before Naruto
summons a clone, Deva sucks him up and stabs him. And.... actually on second thought,
Naruto and Jiraiya win. Extreme high diff.

I think it is worth noting that the Pain arc may not play out the same, up to the massive ST. Or at least a few pains may go down in the process.

Pain would lose worse than how it turned out honestly. If he used up Shinra Tensei that is.
Scenario 2: Jiraiya never goes after pain, and happens to be in the village when Pain comes to attack.
Pain still loses. With Jiraiya living, he could still give intel and make it easier to identify Pain and his weaknesses.

I'm curious as to why you think Pain wins scenario 2. Since Jiraiya already pushed him high diff, he has a village + SM Naruto backing him this time.
