Why Does USA gives money to other countries?

Idk but I feel like we should just mind our own business instead of giving out money to other countries who repay us by insulting our country and what not. I nowadays literally see this everywhere. ''USA full of fat people and want to dictate world'' etc etc. I do realize that it maintains stability in countries and that only few bad apples within a country are like that and that many countries actually need it and are grateful for it but it still infuriates me that I'm basically paying(via tax) some dicks who keep on insulting what might be the cause of their survival. I know I might be a ignorant and what not but I'm tbh too annoyed to care. :dunno:

Although the Wikipedia only lists the most 25 paid countries, I read somewhere that the US actually gives out money to over 150 countries.

the reason that USA give away their money is because USA want to maintain it's power in the region as well as it's influence in other country, but if we look deep, those super power country that give away money always get something back like diamond in Africa and natural resource. Don't think this is something they do on charity!!!!!!!!! I am from Cambodia, a country torn apart by a cold war of USA, Russia.

LOL you completely misunderstood me. i said that I'm fine with giving out the money to people who actually need it, the starving and what not. Most the money we give out for people in need don't even get to them cause of the dictators and what not. I'm just saying that many countries dont actually deserve it. I never wanted to cite an example but w/e I'll say 1. Israel. we give out millions to them, for what? To get oil and popularize Democracy in the East. Might as well give it to some other country.
You're also saying that USA SHOULD give it to people in need but what about other countries? Why can't they give out aid to others? (I'm being ignorant by saying this since there might be other countries that gives out aid but I'm not going to research that to educates jackasses like you .) USA has a trillions of debts to pay + all the homeless people in need WITHIN the country.

I feel like you don't understand what its like to be hungry. I am 17 and for the past year I have been homeless. I have been starving. I have slept on random cars. I live in the usa and During that year when there was weeks without food I was more prosperous than most of the world.
I dont think you understand the gravity of the situation the rest of the world faces. Where our homeless would be like kings to them. I could go to a gas station and pump gas for 10 hours and make more than most of the world makes in a year.
We help them because we understand. We help them because we can. And if we can then we must.

Yes I do, I stated that I don't mind giving money to countries in need of aid, I'm just ''misunderstanding'' why countries who are almost doing better than us need aid. Tbh I wouldn't mind the US giving aid to countries but most of the countries we give are corrupt and less than half of the money actually goes to the needy. If we as a country were ''perfect''(by perfect I mean a stable economy with very low unemployment rate and poverty rate) I wouldnt mind giving half of my income to people less fortunate.

I do understand and empathize your situation but I'm pretty sure you as a person had the opportunity to go to a foster home so you can enroll in a school and get an education to apply and hopefully get a job. If not, then thats just me being foolish again.

That's what I'm all about. But I guess as long as the power hungry congressmen control the country, nothing will change Nowadays congressmen all care about gaining as much power as they can, dismissing the fact that the money they give out to needy people are just being spent by greedy corrupt leaders.
