Why do people think that Madara still has the Rinnegan?

First of all, Madara is my favorite character, so I'm not a Madara hater.
Also I'm not saying he necessarily doesn't have the Rinnegan, I'm saying that people are too quick to jump to conclusion saying he does have it.

As we all know the Rinnegan belonged originally to Madara, and he is the only one who could deactivate it.
Since Madara is basically in a weakened state, and he probably lost consciousness, there's a good chance his eyes deactivated as well and are back to base state.
Madara during his fight with the Kages, was clearly able to revert his rinnegan back to EMS.
Now since Madara no longer has Hashirama's cells (as far as we know), because his chest is back to normal, he shouldn't be able to activate his Rinnegan again.

Again those were not Nagato's eyes. Just like Kakashi wasn't able to deactivate Obito's sharingan.

When Madara was edo tensei, he managed to revert them back to EMS to cast a genjutsu on Raikage.
Also we don't know if hagoromo could deactivate it or not, for all we know he has so much chakra that he doesn't need to.

Why? As far as we know, Madara only could access his rinnegan because the combination of Ashura and Indra, he no longer has this combination. And further more his eyes have a good chance of being deactivated now.

Second his rinnegan is achieved due to the Chakra combination as far as we know, and if he lost his Hashirama clone, he could very well have lost his Ashura chakra.
Maybe it took his body a while to manifest the chakra and activate it through the Hashirama DNA.

We don't know any of this. maybe Kaguya absorbed Hashi's face but that doesn't mean he has Hashi's DNA coursing through his veins.

Either way he's in no position to start fighting anyone let alone the strongest ninjas to ever exist combined.
