Okay, until the next chapter is out there is no way to prove if Madara really is dead or alive by plot.

But why do you think kishi would bother drawing Madara being spit out, and then draw him lying on the ground if he wasn't alive.
There would be absolutely no point in drawing him if he is dead already.

There would be no point to it if Madara doesn't hear Hashirama, Kishi likes to redeem his characters. If Madara is just dead and that's it, it will be pointless. He already spoke his final words when he killed him at the valley of the end.
