my issue with Naruto and sasuke hokage idea..

I might get flamed for days, but neither should be the hokage, YET! AND WHY YOU ASK? think of it this way. Besides protecting the village, do we know what other responsibilities fall on the hokage? Besides assigning missions, and being the speaker for the village. Not really, I'm guessing they deal with finances and keeping the village stable in more ways than just security. I don't think you can entrust that type of stuff to a 17 year old.

Make kakashi hokage, give sasuke and Naruto Teams until they understand responsibly a bit more. I was already a bit weary that gaara became one.

Yep I don't know why people are expecting 17-19 year olds to become Hokage when they are not Mature enough (Naruto's case) or Compassionate/Loyal enough (Sasuke's case)

They need Time to prepare for the role.

No it wouldn't. They could easily make kakashi hokage, then do a flash forward with Naruto as hokage. Pointlessness averted

This is actually a very valid point, but if Gaara can do it with the help of his siblings, these two can do it together. Granted I want these two to be in charge of a team or maybe ANBU leaders.... before becoming something more than that. I assume the movie will put this into motion?

Suckske will never be homage, but developing Naruto in other ways (other than power) would make a part 3 interesting and give kishimoto an excuse to make Kakashi homage for a short while.

Agreed. I've been telling people this for the longest. If Naruto or Sasuke were to become Hokage now, then everything would be screwed. That's why Kishi chose Kakashi to fill the role instead, until Naruto matures. Sasuke will restore his clan, so Hokage of the leaf won't happen.
