If you havn't seen the commercials yet, there is going to be an Avatar the Last Airbender Live Action movie. Its been a while since it was over on nick, due to the fact the series ended. And not they have put together an new live action movie.

The movie is supposed to be out on July 2 of this year (2010)
The Cast:

Jackson Rathbone = Sokka

Dev Patel = Zuko

Cliff Curtis = Firelord Ozai

Nicola Peltz = Katara

Jessica Andres = Suki

Noah Ringer = Aang

Shaun Toub = Uncle Iroh

Seychelle Gabriel = Princess Yue

Aasif Mandvi = Commander Zhao

Dee Bradley Baker = Appa / Momo (voice)

Ben Cook = Avatar Roku

Also, if you havn't noticed, this is taken from the Water Book, due to the fact we don't see Toph or Azula or most of the Earth and Fire book characters.

For those of you wondering what this is:
The story follows the adventures of Aang, a young successor to a long line of Avatars, who must put his childhood ways aside and stop the Fire Nation from enslaving the Water, Earth and Air nations.

Well thats about it, more news will come up as the air date comes closer

i liked the DBZ movie =/ and im kinda looking foward to the movie tbh its gona be interesting with the element bending.

Anime Movies sucks.... and Cartoon movies also.

how the **** are they giong to put Season 1 in a whole movie,
that is giong to fail. This movie is just to milk out the avatar franchise.

Jesus Christ, I really thought that this film was going to be a lil bit better than DBZ, but when I saw the cast XoDDDD, especially the kid from Slumdog Millionare(or i think it was him) thats going to play Zuko.

Im just waiting to see how much are they going to bend the story, hope not as much DBZ creators did.
