Obito and his fears explained

Obito could made a duplicate 'clone' by means of using zetsu ability.
If the 'zetsu' Obito come into contact with Itachi, it would reveal a lot of 'secret' of Obito/Madara plan.
Obito cannot reveal his kamui to Itachi, because of the power of Itachi sharingan eyes.
Same as Itachi cannot use certain jutsu on Obito.
It did not means Obito fear Itachi, but also, Itachi did fear Obito.
Both fear each other power, and they maintain less close contact.
It did not mean Obito kamui was powerful, but
Kishi did not reveal what type and how many jutsu, that Madara taught Obito.
Seem that many of Obito secret jutsu and ability will be revealed in the coming chapters, by means of using Kakashi.
And also reveal the true 'secret' between Obito and Itachi, this could make Sasuke to kill Madara...

Yeah, he used Izanagi. That's the 'secret' he kept hidden from Itachi. Seems Itachi knew about it (During the Kabuto Fight) but didn't know Obito had it.

Yup. If he knew for certain that Obito knew that and could use it, he could have set something else up.

Itachi knew that Obito was gathering bijuus, and it wasn't for big birthday party, Obito was planning to fk the world and Itachi knew about it but still he didn't kill Obito.

The so called peace lover could've prevented this war and the lives of half the shinobi world.Even Hashi said that as a hokage he would've killied his siblings if they tried to harm the ppl.

Itachi was said to have the thinking of a hokage at the age of 7 but still he couldn't tell that killing Obito was far more important for the ninja world than babysitting his brother. LMAO.

The simle answer is that Itachi knew he couldn't beat Obito so he made the best of his situation and tried to save sasuke form going to dark side.

And as far as Obito being scared? lolz he took on the whole world alone when he declared War and went up to a juubi jin(Madara), put his hand in him and told him to fk off.

Obito was never afraid of death, even as a kid he sacrificed himself to save Kakashi and then again as an adult he saved both Kakashi and Naruto even when he had a choice.

Kishi portrayed him as afraid whether you like it or not. Who wins in a battle is irrelevant. As for why Itachi didn't kill him, what part of pacifist don't you get? And anyway there is no plot if Obito died back then. Stupid question.

Obito was not afraid of itachi, if anything he's just being cautious that he might ruin his plans, there's a fine difference between the two.

You could say that Obito was afraid that itachi might reveal his secrets. But that was the same for itachi too. They we're both cautios of each other so I don't see whats wrong here.

You can also say that Itachi was afraid that of Jiraiya because that would reveal his true intention.

obito was kinda nervous when it came to itachi... i don't think he was afraid of itachi's arsenal, but his intellect... and the reason was that obito didn't know about itachi's powers and neither did itachi know of obito's... that's why they never faced each other... itachi kept him at bay with his intellect... even BZ didn't know what itachi had up his sleeves, that's why obito considered itachi a threat... otherwise obito is clearly superior to itachi battle wise...
