War arc was pretty good up until obito's identity was revealed.
We got to see madara, edo itachi and edo nagato , zabuza and interaction between asuma and his team, we got to see a lot of stuff.
But After obito's reveal, it just went downhill. Tobi which was a fantastic character got his personality completely changed and once he became obito, it was all about rin. And again, rin is a character which have 0 character development and obito and rin were not even shown to be that much of friends.
It also does not make sense for obito to start a war when what ruined his life was war itself.
Tobi's entire character was destroyed after it being revealed as obito. And again, i don't have a problem with him being obito but his personality change annoyed me and it just felt boring to read all that rin spam.
Also from that point on , the manga became inconsistent and made little to no sense as it progressed.
I think kishi should have went on a break, a hiatus for idk, a month or two. I would have preferred to wait and read a better written story than Bullshit with no breaks.
I mean look at HxH, the manga is FANTASTIC, the guy takes a LOT of breaks but still he delivers an awesome story and that is all i want as a reader. One Piece is also well written and HARDLY have any inconsistency or plot holes.
Before obito reveal, which would be up to chapter 600, I would rate the arc 8.5/10 .
After that point, i would rate it 4/10 .
Some good stuff did happen such as hokage coming back, sasuke becoming good again, hashi and madara story BUT the bad stuff (plot holes, inconsistencies) overpowered the good stuff.
Right now, Kakashi is running around with a PS?
Kaguya who we don't know anything about died? and i am like, ok ... i dont even care.
Does kaguya even have a fanbase?
Madara on the other hand who was around from 300+ chapters have a HUGE fanbase. BZ one shotting him also did not make any sense either.
Overall, the manga started going downhill from chapter 600 imo and even though there were some great moments, the inconsistencies and plot holes made the whole thing displeasing.
