Cruelty

In my time on this cold and lonely earth,
I’ve experienced hardship and sorrow,
and since the day my troubles were given birth,
most days I just wished I didn’t have to wake up for tomorrow.

When she said that she loved me, she hid her wicked heart with a gorgeous smile,
when they said they would be my friends, they masked their traitorous nature with camaraderie,
and even after all this time, which lasted a good while,
I know that all their friendship and kindness towards me is to the contrary.

So you can say that everyone loves you and cares for you,
but deep down, you know that it is all a lie,
and nothing they say is ever true,
and in the end, you just feel like you want to die.
