To all the Naruto (series) and Kishimoto haters

This manga died long time ago, I used to complain alot but I'm fed up, nothing good will come if we're sitting our ass all day to give some stragiht criticism cause it won't change the manga anyway, Kishi can't read our post. The direction this series is going, I had already lost hope with this series cause he doesn't care for his story quality or for his fans.

Recently there has been a lot of complaining about the manga and/or Kishimoto. So why continue to come back and read the series? If Naruto is ruined, beyond redemption, and disgusting to read, why come back next week and read the chapter? And if you really do hate Naruto, why sit at your computer and post on NARUTObase? Why go to a site dedicated to a series you hate? If you hate Justin Beiber, why would you go listen to every new single he releases? If you hate Twilight, why would you force yourself to read the entire trilogy?

In life, we all have things that we have no choice but to do. You might hate your boss but you gotta pay your bills. You might hate your car but you can't afford a new one. Fortunately, you don't have to read Naruto to put food on your table and pay your bills. Nobody is forcing you to read Naruto at gunpoint. So if you don't like the series anymore, why not find something you do like? Maybe a different manga or anime, maybe you can find some completely different hobby. Something else that you actually enjoy.

What's the point of a forum if people can't be free to discuss their opinions about the manga. If you don't like it you don't have to be here.

It's true that Narutobase is a place to express your opinion. There's nothing wrong with disliking Naruto. However, Narutobase is also a place for discussion ABOUT Naruto, and hating and complaining really doesn't contribute to any kind of discussion. This is not any forum, this is a forum for Naruto. Saying, "I hate Naruto, Kishimoto is a s*** writer" doesn't engender new ideas or productive discussions. It's the same reason why character bashing is banned. The majority of people you are online with are not looking for other's hatred of a series that the site is dedicated to. Simply put, this is a fan site for Naruto. This is probably not the right place for you if you hate Naruto, just like a Justin Beiber concert would not be the right place for a person who hates Justin Beiber.

I understand if you are upset with the direction the manga is going, or if you are annoyed with Kishimoto's writing. The series is far from perfect. I myself have complained about it a fair share. There's nothing wrong with venting your frustration. But to go as far to say that Naruto is a bad manga and Kishimoto is a terrible writer is ridiculous. Clearly Naruto and Kishimoto are good enough so that you joined this site, continue to read the manga, and are reading this post.

So if you're annoyed with the manga, feel free to vent. If you find a plothole, feel free to post it. But remember that Narutobase is the wrong place to be if you want to bash and hate on Naruto and Kishimoto.

This thread will do absolutely nothing. People will keep complaining. All good series/shows/sports have their critics. It's not that they hate it (For some people) anyways, their just disappointed. They thought it could have been better. They just may had high expectation that they think Kishi didn't made. Naruto is a great series for me no mater want. Might be a little bias.

Everyone has some level of a desire for conflict--it's human nature.

Most people just run around looking for excuses to complain, and in this case they're using Naruto to fuel the human nature of arrogance & Meggary. I'm not as much of a fan and I'm not as excited week by week to read it as I used to. None the less I stick with it to see how the story ends with not many complains other than the fact that Kishi seems like he's sniffing crack to help brainstorm.
Even with those complains I don't bring them up over and over again other than the Kishi issue once a week when he makes a really bad/weird issue.

each chapter of naruto gets rated high in the weekly wsj magazine ratings and the manga is selling tons of volumes
a lot of people still like naruto and they actually buy it
that's what should matter to kishi

I agree. You're preaching to the choir with people who listen & act civilized & waste time with the haters who look for fuel to say something sucks or create/turn bash threads. It sucks, but it's a never ending battle that threads like these won't stop. But good job trying, I guess.

Funny how someone would say that when in WSJ there is Weekly ratings - every chapter is rated as it comes it each week which the Authors are aware of.

Naruto so always in the top 5 + the mangas sales have always been good.If Authors see that their story sin;t doing good then they change things up so people will like it more.


The people who are being negative and saying "This won't change anything they will still hate" - that's stupid and negative logic. People should combat what's wrong even if the negativity won't ever stop completely.Should their be no police cause there will always be criminals?Should their be no laws cause people will always break them?


And people could read comments like the one the OP made and realize that he's right and not whine like they did before.Not every has the mindset of"I'm right and if you disaagree with me you're wrong" - people can change.

The people who complain about Naruto are stupid,when i see why they don't like it it's based on things that they're not even right about. Like whinning about the current power levels despite us already knowing the whole story that the Bijuu's were powerhouses.

Also, reading above posts, I'm delighted to see people following the WSJ Rankings, seeing themselves how Japanese readers perceive the things western 'fans' usually hate.
