I do not bother with a lot of people on this thread to be honest, they're the same people I see hating on every Madara's threads . You should understand a person's comprehension of the manga when they call Madara a failure . Madara is still truly misunderstood , but most opinions of random people on a forum doesn't affect me anymore .

I don't think it was elaborately planned, but it depends, was Madara's Izanami activated before the battle or just right before he died? In that case he knew he would lose? or Hashirama would kill him? Madara can't predict the future, and he was really surprised when Hashi stabbed him. He brought the nine-tails along with intent to kill, and subdue. Even IF he did come out on top, he could have easily slipped back into hiding, he would have been an international criminal to the 5 great nations, but so was Sasuke, who's offense was more direct to just one Kage, and he managed to slip through the cracks.

Madara doing all of that just to get DNA is far-fetched, even for him, especially when all he could have done was ask and Hashi would have gave it to him, jk lol.
