Why Sasuke summoning Manda wasn't an asspull

In that particular time, Sasuke was able to summon a snake, activate his Sharingan, and use the snake to protect him. Three key notes that is similar to Sasuke's escape with Manda. As I said, he suffered no damage. This is our first hint for Deidara's overly flashy explosions that never cause any serious damage to Sasuke this entire fight. That first snake received the full blast, yet was intact by the end. It's Foreshadowing and is exactly what took place in your so called "asspull movement".

My point to this whole bs regarding your flawed inclinations is that you greatly overrate the power of Deidara's explosions. Even their clothes tanked those explosions most of the time.

Deidara assumed that Sasuke was low or out of chakra, but that was his and your mistake on thinking that. Considering that Sasuke was able to use chakra right after Deidara said that proves that he was not completely out of chakra. Also, the fact that Orochimaru didn't appear out of Sasuke like with his battle with Itachi also proves this. If Sasuke was indeed out of chakra then Orochimaru would have proven to come out and run amuck into his 8 tail serpent.

As you can see here, Deidara has already set off the bomb here, and Sasuke was sitting there looking surprised. He hadn't even started weaving handseals for the summoning yet, he somehow manganges to summon and climb into it before the explosion hits him? Bullshit. Avoiding those small explosions with shunshin doesnt even begin to compare to using a summon and climbing into it all in the space of a few microseconds. Also, seeing how huge Manda was his genjutsu shouldn't have been effective (long distance). Unless he appeared in his head once summoned.
