Sakura isn't going to instinctively punch the ground like all Sakura supporters assume. She will try to engage in CQC as she had done so on the past. When she faced madara she went straight at him, not punch the ground. She only did so because there were multiple enemies. That being said temari uses her fan all the time, starting off with a kiri kiri is in character.

Why didn't she start of with Kiri Kiri against the Raikage or Tayuya or Shikamaru.

Honestly, there's no way Temari can take this. With Sakura's byakugou, she's basically impossible to damage/kill and she can defend herself with punching up the ground. Also, don't forget that Sakura can summon Katsuyu, which would be almost impossible for Temari to deal with. Eventually Sakura closes the distance and defeats Temari with her taijutsu.

I think Sakura is too tough for Temari to handle as Sakura is literally on Tsunades level now and maybe even better and I think Tsunade could take Temari so my vote goes to Sakura.
