[Discussion] Higursahi no naku koro ni

I have watched this anime called Higurashi no naku koro ni...It's only have 26 episodes.It's an horror anime. I liked it but there still things that need to be explained. They didn't explained how and why satoshi disappeared from village? Is oyashiro sama's curese is a fake ? and why the same people die after the festival.

I've only read a few chapters of it's manga.I haven't seen any of the anime.And i just took alook at some info about it and here's some good news - the first season was 26 episodes.There's a second season with 24.

Under "Anime Arc" it says,"It was made by the request of Ryukishi07 to include important plot details that were left out from the first season so as to tie the two seasons together."

So from that i know the anime isn't exactly like the manga.If you're going to read the manga then use wiki - it has all the arcs in order.The manga sites don't.
