But yes, Kishi always seems to try and leave Sasuke until last, besides, Sasuke's fate has not been decided in the manga yet, if he is revealed in the film it would ruin things for the current manga.

Assuming he's alive, I can see why he'd leave Sasuke until last...

If you've noticed in the story, everytime he shows up after one of his long Hiatus's the plot moves forward, at times he moves the plot-forward even more then Naruto does. Also, while he may have quite the legions of haters over here, Japan loves him. Kishi is taking advantage and making his status ambiguous, is he alive, is he dead?

He simply brings more hype to the story out of all the characters, including Naruto. You can't tell me that's not true after years of reading the manga. He goes away for ages, the manga eventually starts to get stale and people both Sasuke fan and even haters want him to show up again, he does and there's hype.
