I'd understand you saying Shippuden was great, and the ending was epic, and whatever have you.
But i hate to burst your bubble. From an objective standpoint compared to the manga greats ie FMA, Gash Bell, etc, I can't help but feel like Kishimoto cheated me.
But it's not just me, even if you don't realize it, he cheated you also. And it's a damn shame if you just sit there and accept this. You deserve better than this. We deserve better than this.
The way Shippuden opened up it was all very promising--promising until post Pain arc when Kishi started getting careless with his story. There was a lack of excitement and suspense, danger, emotion, explanations. Everything kishi wrote was so linear.
The good guys never seemed as if they were in genuine danger, maybe it was because of the recurring theme, plot no jutsu. But if you don't think Kaguya was lackluster, then I feel sorry that you accept this as good story telling. As a reader you should want moer, no, you should expect more. Especially from Kishimoto. This ending left me empty, left me thinking there was some chapter I missed, but alas...
Well, it's been one hell of a ride, kishi, thanks.
