I have a feeling, Things are about to get interesting!!! New Villain Options!?!

This Kaguya sequence was too cliche. Kishi most certainly realizes how garbage this was, and is about to do something new. Let's see who are some options:

1. Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki

• Many people believe Hagoromo may be the final villain as something about him just seems off.
• If he is a villain, I'd say he certainly has enough power to make something happen. An explanation of Hamura is still needed as well. I'll make a thread on this later just to analyze the possibility. EDIT:

2. Sasuke Uchiha

• If Kaguya was the central villain and Kishi is really moving on, then it's very possible that Sasuke will finally act to make his dream come a reality.
• Even now his true goal isn't made clear yet as

  It's possible that the difference of opinion (regarding Leadership/etc.) will lead to their long awaited battle as well.

3. Orochimaru

• There literally is no better opportunity for Orochimaru than this. Madara is currently

  . This gives Orochimaru the perfect chance to acquire a living Uchiha body with extreme power.
• Kishi has had Juugo hint on two occasions (

  | 2) that Orochimaru still may be planning something. Even Kabuto asked him what is he doing and is showing Caution in the second image.
• If Kishi wants to salvage any chance of ending on a good villainous note than there is no one better for this job

Bonus: Spiral Zetsu

• Not necessarily a villain, just something I want to note.The question still arises as to where is he along with White Zetsu?

I'm not completely sure about there being another villain. With the manga supposedly coming to a close near the release of the Naruto: The Last (12-6-14), this leaves us with only 10 or so chapters remaining. I don't think there would be enough time to have another villain show up, unless he/she is defeated fairly quickly.

As for the options you gave, maybe SZ will wrap himself around Madara giving Madara one last boost, or directly control him as he did with Yamato. With Madara losing both the Juubi's chakra and the Gedou Mazou, he should be on the verge of death. Maybe SZ will keep him alive.

Orochimaru making a play to take over Madara's body would be interesting to see as he would finally have the perfect vessel which he has always dreamed of (he never could take over any of his ideal vessels Sasuke/Itachi/Kimimaro).

Hagoromo is difficult to read at this point. I wonder what became of all the chakra Kaguya absorbed using the Infinite Tsukuyomi because even though the bijuus were separated during the sealing, that is still a huge chunk of chakra left over. Maybe Hagormo could absorb the chakra and gain a physical body, or perhaps he could take over the body Madara (someone who possesses Hagoromo's unique chakra).

You forgot Madara, who may very well still be alive, and the Shinju, which could/should still be there. Not to mention Hamura.
