I've been a loyal fan for quite a few years and grew up watching naruto but this is all BS, and I'll tell you why.

1) All this proved to me is that Neji was correct about everything. The original premise of the disagreement between naruto and neji was predicated on the fact that neji believed in pre-determinism, that people were born into a certain fate and no matter what they did that fate and outcome could never be changed. Naruto was born into the role of a failure who was destined to establish his role in his community and become "the savior of the world" through finding his purpose through his community instead of seeking to promote his own agenda in a vengeful disempowered context such as "becoming hokage to get respect from people and be acknowledged". Sasuke was born into the role of a person who's s fearful and so mistrusting that he places a heavier emphasis on his on perspective and well being hence the reason he's so calculating and arrogant. It's a defense mechanism. Not only that but after finding out that everything transpired the way it had because of a plan devised by black zetsu lends further credence to neji's theory.

2) After realizing he'd written himself into a wall kishi managed to pull the biggest ass pull of all ass pulls by creating a villain who was supposed to be more powerful but was easily defeated within the course of 6 chapters and at the end of all of it we're treated to something similar to a video game ending. He may as well have said "congratulations you've won!! you managed to save the world and become the moon masters!"

3) Now we're lead to believe there's going to be a final fight between naruto and sasuke even though it was well established that because they have a yin/ yang relationship and are evenly matched the likelyhood of one existing without the other is low.

4) Sasuke is pretty much an enemy of the state and people are perfectly fine pretending nothing happened. Where's the justice?!?!?!

This is BULL.

Exactly naruto saying that he choose his fate but that's not the case
Naruto's fate was to save the world it was his fate to overcome all these obstacles

And forreal neji was right 100% you can choose any road you want but it will be the same outcome you cannot choose or change your destiny simple as that

This chapter didn't give me the urge to quit, but it did give me the feeling that it was rushed. I felt like this chapter would have normally been spread across 3 chapters but for some reason was summarized in one.

I may not have liked the short amount of time it took to defeat Kaguya, but I'm sticking with it to the end. It's been my favorite series for a long time now, no matter what has happened in the story

I can't understand women. When something good happens, they always want to go their own way with it.

If Sasuke didn't get the hokages, the would have lost. If Sasuke wasn't there Kaguya wouldn't be sealed, they would have lost.

wow just wow
So is naruto is currently a looser huh?
Neji choose his path himself and the outcome was same but Dat was not the destiny/path he was sprouting about VS naruto so

I can't understand men. When a woman has a logical argument they always resort to an amalgamation of ad hominem arguments and over generalizations instead of developing a valid argument that happens to be substantiated with evidence.

First off, nice avatar. I used to love watching Daria!

On topic, I think the most recent chapter wasn't the best but it was okay. I'll be disappointed if this is how this truly great manga ends but I am excited that maybe this rushed ending will lead to another arc. Maybe an arc leading up to the naruto v. sasuke fight would be cool. I agree that naruto and sasuke are almost a symbiotic relationship at this point so I don't expect that fight to end with a winner and a loser as much as a display of power then a draw.

Neji was saying to Naruto that it was impossible that he could become Hokage, that talent is decided at birth, you can't succeed through hard work alone,Naruto was born a failure, and a failure cannot beat a genuis.

All Naruto said was to stop automatically deciding things, you can change your fate ( that was in response to neji repeteadly insulting him and talking as if he was right about everything),and he would win.Naruto's piont to Neji was that you can change things,a "loser" can beat a genuis,a "failure" won't always be a "failure".

Naruto used himself as an example by mentioning how he failed the academy 3 times on the same technique which was his weakness - the clone jutsu and and then he passed and now his signature technique is the Shadow clone technique.

He proved Neji wrong then Neji learned from that and changed.
