An explanation anyone?

Zetsu previously said that Kaguya who was the Juubi was sealed in the moon and now the current chapter confirms this. But how is this possible? Hagoromo was said to have been the juubi jinchuriki and to have sealed it in the moon near his death. If we saw Hamura and Hagoromo performing the seal in the current chapter, doesn't that mean that they were sealing the Juubi? I am confused.

When Hagoromo and his brother originally fought kaguya, they sealed her (juubi) inside Hagoromo. Later Hagoromo split the chakra of the juubi(kaguya) up into the 9 tailed beast while within him, and sealed the shell of the juubi (kaguya) inside the moon on his deathbed.

Sounds plausible but the minor flaw that kurama mentioned hagoromo to survive due to gedo mazou after biju creation.
