It's the same with seinen mangas, characters get killed left and right, well that's what makes it more inspiring per se, my standards, since it gives it more of realistic touch, and not your generic manga nakama bullshit, but it's not always a good decision, depending on how it's potrayed, the situation, the depth etc. I'm just gonna leave this out there, Since AGK is still on my watch list. Yeah I don't care about spoilers.
When I first read the manga I didn't feel for Sheele or Bulat at all, and their deaths seemed average to me.
It wasn't really until the Jaegers appeared that I started to like the manga, I really do recommend you continue to watch the anime.
The reason this series is good isn't because of current events in the anime.
And it's not really that big of a spoiler I think, but it's gonna be a long time until the next night raider dies.
I think Mein is in pretty deep shit right now, plus Lubbock is fighting in the Imperial Castle where Budou and his army resides, not exactly a smart place to fight but I hope Lubbock kicks some ass and survives.
But yeah, as I said, Mein is in deep shit for being with Tatsumi, I think one of these members is going to die soon, most likely Mein.
So a good manga, in your shitty opinion, should milk out every last drop of story-time from a character before giving him more power ups and milking more? And I, as a person who's read all the 52 chapters of the manga that's been released will tell you that Braht is definitely NOT the 2nd strongest, after Esdese. Hell, even Esdeath isn't the goddamn strongest. Much more stronger people appear. And some of them die because their deaths are either important to the story or their lives are not important anymore.
Dude you don't get my point with this discussion you seriously have issues with me all I'm saying is to give more indepth to the character like an arc or something and give more screen time that just got introduced in the beginning of the series so that they can serve more purpose to the story before delivering the death of the character so that it gives better impact to the reader instead of killing off characters almost every single episodes...
Wtf does my argument have to do with powerups, plot and or milking??? Stop talkin nonesense...
So you're implying they have enough time to give characters enough depth? It's a monthly manga. There isn't enough time to develop characters and give them as much as depth as they can get in a weekly manga. They have to move on with the story, they simply don't have enough time to sit down and write multiple chapters focusing on a single character .
Just because it's a monthly release doesn't give the excuse to say that the author doesn't have enough time. The author would've produce so much contents for some characters given expansion for some arcs. There're many way to increase the popularity instead of just killing off some important characters almost every chapter so damn early in the series, look at blue exorcist (Monthly release) for instance, Rin Father death was exceptional because it produced very strong buildup between Satan son and Fujitora which given so much contents in the very first chapter with 60+ pages and we're able to perceive the message that Fujitora death triggered Rin to become the Exorcist, this was very strong emotional scene. Which then introduced every exorcism in the cram school showcasing their character developments in each and every arcs instead of killing off almost every chapters like Akame Ga Kill.
The author took so much damn time to make the series really good, I would rather be patience with plot progression instead of wanting very fast pace which would lead to bad quality.

12 chapters per year with them losing a chapter every now and then if something happens so yes, they don't have enough time to focus on a single character like they could do in a weekly manga. Especially if they need to move on with the story. Weekly manga can focus multiple chapters on a single character since it only takes up weeks while it takes up months for monthly manga. Large difference. He's writting a dark story so it's pretty much understandable why he kills off some characters. Even so, the only ones from current Night Raid that are currently dead are only Sheele and Bulat. Akame, Lubbock, Tatsumi, Leone, etc. they are all still alive. As I've said before, Sheele and Bulat weren't relevant enough. I'd rather he kills them off than keep them in the background for a large amount of time when they don't have anything to offer like Kishi does to K11 and many, many other of his characters, for an example.

No you're saying Bulat and Sheele are irrelevant because they just got introduced to the story, there are many opportunities to focus some characters , obviously I see them way too valuable characters to get killed off because they are one of main important of the night raid members. Not giving anyone some panel time is as bad as Kishi not giving any screentime to the Konoha11, don't ever say that as an escape goat. As I said it doesn't matter if they lose some chapters, the author can always give more times and patience despite the amount of chapters in a year or how many years passed by , it still have alot of contents we're receiving so it's definitely worth to wait. I would rather be patience with plot progression instead of wanting very fast pace which would lead to bad quality.

Nope, I am saying it like how it is. They kill off the irrelevant characters who served only one purpose to begin with, only to be able to focus on more important characters afterwards. They characters served their roles and thats it, no point of keeping them anymore when they are just going to become even less relevant as background characters. If he kept Sheele around, that would defeat her character's purpose to begin with. And that is to set up a dark mood after getting killed by Seryu's hands. You can say you didn't feel any sadness at all at her death, but your previous statement that you're sure ''most people agree with you that Sheele's death left no feeling of sadness'' on you (them, in this case) doesn't really hold ground as you don't have much to back up this claim. I've seen countless people on tumblr, facebook, youtube or the fanbase in general cry over Sheele and hate Seryu afterwards for it. I, on the other hand, felt absolutely no sadness for Jiraiya or Rin's father, but that doesn't immediately mean that everyone else felt no sadness for them as well.
And Konoha 11 isn't getting any screentime. They are just being kept around as random characters that show up every now and then. I see no reason to keep a large amount of characters like them around when they don't really play any role or really relevant. They got a chapter to shine every now and then, but extremely rarely.

It's not that simple. Monthly manga authors aren't as dedicated to their work as weekly manga authors are. Hence the reason why said mangas are monthy to begin with. They don't plan on focusing on a single character for months without moving the plot anywhere and we're not talking about a single character here. A manga has more than one character and if the author is supposed to focus on someone as irrelevant as Sheele or Bulat, then that would mean spendings years on developing the characters, not just months. Monthly manga authors tend to end their mangas way earlier than something like Naruto, One Piece, what not. They focus on the plot more and even then, it doesn't feel rushed like you're saying and I consider it's characters completely likeable.

Yet with one purpose, they should prolong and give more screentime giving the amount chapters these characters deserve before ending their roles, it's not that hard, instead of just relying shock value for every deaths, each characters get some significant amount of character development before deserving some deaths. Even with one purpose, it doesn't matter, because every characters have so many hidden potentials that the author could easily expanded upon to make up another obstacle so that these main night raid member can serve more roles later on in the story. If Sheele is alive it doesn't necessary mean it undermine her character because we've never understand her motives and her roles till she dies, so before this Seiryu fight happen , why not set up another subplots or mini- arc for another fights which will allow to see her more character growth so that the next time they fight with Seryu, it would benefit her closure which adds alot more impact when she dies so that we could grow attach to these characters so as you said it would set up the battle between Mine and Seryu.
You bring some stupid argument that supporting konoha11 or Side Characters are supporting only a particular lobby ( Leaving as Backburner) so that Naruto can support Konoha and all the other villages as Hokage so that he's going to be in charge of all of them. Yet someone smart like Itachi gave him some good advice to always rely on your "Friends" to do the job. What happen to all that?

Itachi even said do not forget about your friends. What did this bastard Naruto did right off the bat?? He took all the battle field with BM Naruto shadowclones to do all the work without relying on his "friends" which even goes show him his stupidity and his arrogance that was laid out by Itachi.

The fact that these Konoha11 shinobi didn't surpass their previous generation is the big issues. They are not relevant anymore and the time for developing them has passed which shouldn't happen. When they do get their screen time, everything is always revolve around Naruto, it`s always about him, Nobody gets their own Developments except Team Asuma.
Look at Neji, he didn't get any proper development he receive in part 2, we could'v seen his growth during the time when he was a jounin or the confrontation between Neji and his father to get some build up relation and some redemption, and changing his destiny and the Hyuga clan, or the confrontation with the Kumogakure village but instead his death was such an Asspull and I understand why he has to die cause it will allow to set up for `Naruto` and Hinata roles and that his death represent freedom, but regardless his death was poorly executed, leaving almost no impact which treated like a Fodder.
If you compare in Part 1, Neji Vs Kidomaru was the most beautiful fight I've ever seen. He truly astonishing me especially with the symbolism when he die victorious, honestly if Kishi never going to give proper Neji treatment by ending up not doing anything significant for the rest of the arc until he appear in, then what's the point of leaving him alive?? He should'v died the fight against Kidomaru if Kishi never going to give Neji some spotlight through out the course of Shippuden. Furthermore, Kaguya and Hamura revealed to have the Byakugan which the species from kaguya came from possibly have strong connection with the Hyuga making more relavents that anyone could easily predicted which lead me to the point of why Neji death was so pointless when he could die later on when it comes to his role.
Whats the point of bringing up new character to story when they're not going to be utilized anymore when Kishi had so much opportunity to either kill them off since they don't hold enough "Important" or give extra roles that would beneficial to the story.
In hunter x hunter, Gon is the main character and the story is about his journeys, but he doesn't always get all the shine and it's not always about him, other characters get great development and good progress. One piece is good aswell, Luffy is the main character, but it's not always about him being the hero, everyone gets good development
Basically we don`t watch Naruto for Naruto only, when there are other tons of great side characters that we`re interested but instead they all get neglected. Therefore, implying that we`re watching Naruto as the only character in the story thus everything about him has grown too bland and stale , and his personality are too boring and Corny.
In part 1, everyone are relavents, we get to see so much Konoha11 screen time and even from other villages like the Sand siblings, they all have almost equal powerscale. Now in Part 2 the powerscale is off the chart, and everyone are neglected and Naruto gets mostly time to shine.
Kishimoto even regretted that he didn't set preplanned for every characters in the war.
As I said before, Konoha11 are the main pillars for Naruto to deliver the peace.

So having no dedication means proves that it's this author problems and the fault for making terrible writing because every monthly manga author have very strong dedication, look at Attack On Titan, Kingdom, Berserk, Claymore, etc, they love what they're doing because they defiantly take so much times and efforts for focusing every characters or group that surrounded and revolve with other character which it definitely having plot progression even with taking so much break and or Hiatus which is why these series are Godlike. As I said before, Sheele and Bulat are not irrelevant, when they were definitely important character to begin with which just got introduced...

Nope. We already knew all there is to Sheele. Her background was told and we knew the reason she joined Night Raid. She was a talented killer and wanted to use her talent to help get rid of society's garbage. She had only one purpose and that was to set up a dark mood which is the point of a dark fantasy. Doesn't matter if you view it as only shock value when other felt actual sadness at the death. There's no point in giving a character like her a whole arc that would take months to finish just so they could kill her right afterwards and finally start the dark atmosphere within the story. If someone as irrelevant as Sheele was supposed to get a whole arc to herself then author would be wasting months upon months just to flesh out some characters and then could finally move the plot somewhere. You can say you'd rather have patience for the plot and let him flesh out some characters, but most of the fanbase does not view it that way. They aren't willing to wait for months upon months for the plot to move somewhere. Not when I see them barely have enough patience to wait a month for each chapter. Not to mention there's tons of more important characters they could be spending said panel time on.

So basically you're saying that they are being used as pillars for Naruto's goal? And that's basically what I meant. They aren't relevant anymore. They have been left in the dust, both character development wise and relevancy wise. They just got pushed into the background and show every now and then so Naruto could get some support. They serve as nothing more than Naruto's friends who just cheer him on every now and then at this point of time. They used to be a lot more relevant and interesting until they turned into background side characters. Look at Tenten or Kiba for an example. As irrelevant as you get. Yet, they are still there and not to be used as pillars, but because Kishi is afraid of killing off his characters which was proven time and time again. Keeping a character longer than they are supposed to be kept around could even ruin said character as seen with Obito's character and Gaara's character.
''No dedication''? Did you just put words in my mouth? At what point of time did I say ''no dedication''? I said ''they don't have as much as dedication as weekly manga authors''. Big difference. Monthly manga authors aren't as dedicated to their work as weekly manga authors are. There's a reason why those manga are monthly to begin with. Because they aren't as dedicated enough as weekly manga authors who sit down and draw a chapter every week. The authors of Akame ga Kill also love what they are doing. To the point where he actually responds to fan mail every day on twitter, but that doesn't mean that he has as much as time or dedication to draw a chapter every single week like monthly authors do. Didn't read the other three mangas you mentioned, but Attack on Titan focuses on it's plot way more than it's characters as well.

Pretty much this Sheele wasn't seen most of the time fact is she wasn't even shown returning with Night Raid in the first episode. Bulat was killed for Tatsumi's development, To show him it wasn't a game that they wouldn't always come back alive.
Anyway she's getting a comic so thats good enough for me
