Serious Question - Prime Hiruzen, how good was he?

It is stated in the acutal manga that at his prime he was the strongest of all the Hokage? I find it hard to believe that he was stronger than Hashirama. But Kishi wrote it, why? Is the Hiruzen hype real?

Kishi wrote it... yes. but it wasn't out of Kishi's mouth.. come on how old are you that you cannot understand the difference between characters opinions/ characters information bias/ character agenda direction for each opinion.

Kishi also said that Madara (Tobi at the time) was handed the MS by his brother as to protect the clan with the EMS. But in reality he actually took them from him after he died because he himself was going blind from overusing MS.

So You see, that was explained by tobi as so to use sasuke so that sasuke would interpret his actions as noble and doing it for his clan's sake, something that sasuke just had discovered as also his new main objective as to repay the system and people that made his brother suffer.

He was supposed to be the strongest hokage in part 1 but kishi forgot about that in part 2, its stupid and an insult to the readers imo, hashirama was never called a god of shinobi until the war arc, its obvious that kishi came up with it at the last moment just to hype him up since he was supposed to be stronger than madara, why didn't he mention anything about hiruzen being a god of shinobi in this arc? and why didn't anyone mention anything about hashirama being a god of shinobi in part 1? its like he forgot about it or he thinks the readers are stupid, it shows that he never meant for hashirama to be too important until the war arc where he came up with that. I was hoping to see edo hiruzen show why he was called a god of shinobi but that won't happen.

yea... in the opening few chapters of a series that just had begun and has been going on now for 15 years.... dude shit like that is irrelevant. It was to grab the attention of the audience as to how magnificent, important and just the will of fire in general was as it embodied itself into a human being called the hokage.

also those words came out of hiruka explaining a buncha little kids how amazing their leader was. Of course Hiruzen is a God to Iruka... can he even use ninjutsu? hahahaa
