Naruto has always been my favorite and always will be. That will never change.

However, I became a big fan of Minato the more we learned about him. The way Jiraiya spoke about the Fourth and what a legendary genius he was, how he revered across the world, etc. I liked him even when all we had of him was a face on the statue and some hype. When I read Kakashi Gaiden, I had found my second favorite in him. Low and behold, that was Naruto's father and the legendary Fourth Hokage. The meeting during Pain fight was one of the best moments ever.

I ride with Naruto and Minato no matter what.

Favorite character at the beginning: Naruto

Favorite character now: Naruto.

I liked Naruto at the beginning because of his underdog story and how he was able to overcome it through his character and motivation to protect others.

I like current Naruto because he's striving to be the best possible person he can be.

I've always liked Sasuke ever since chapter 3. When Orochimaru was first introduced I started to get intrigued in his motives. Gaara was only interesting to me when he was insane and thirsty for blood. Neji back in the day when he fought Naruto and Kidomaru was beast. Itachi was badass when he mindphucked Kakashi. Kidomaru and Tayuya were very smart and strong sound ninjas.

Part 2 changed a lot for me. I still continued to like Sasuke no matter what. Gaara dropped off of my list after he became a Naruto fanboy and decided to believe in that peace garbage. I still like Orochimaru. I started to like most of the Akatsuki consisting of Hidan, Itachi, Kakuzu, Deidara and Sasori. Karin was simply a blessing sent from the Netherlands.

Sasuke is my all time fav. I usually fall for the villains or evil characters of the series.

The two vying for my absolute favorite spot has always been Kakashi and Naruto. They alternate between 1 and 2, but they remain constant. However, I very much grew to like Minato, Itachi, Darui, and Tobirama as they were unveiled.

My first favorite character was Anko.

Dropped the series for a few years, but within the few months before I decided to get back into it, I figured "hey if I get back into Naruto I bet I'll like Shikamaru a lot," which turned out to be true. Shortly after I caught up to the manga I came to love Temari too and they're both evenly my top fave.

Anko is still my third fave behind them though, despite her complete lack of relevancy and panel time, let alone panels where she's actually, y'know, conscious...
