I was also really disappointed with the anime so I started reading the manga last week, it's definitely worth it, if you don't like the manga then I just don't know what to do anymore.

IMO, they might've killed off a bit too many characters than was actually needed but they showed their willingness to kill off characters, that's what makes it good too.
It's like you never know who is going to die or when they're going to die because there is no plot protection for anyone except Tatsumi and maybe Akame, it's survival of the fittest.
That's what makes it so great. ^_^

Yes I get it, I understand why they have to die but regardless it's still bad to get killed off so early in beginning of the series, and yes it's still ongoing probably a long running series by now, it doesn't matter if it's monthly cause guess what, weekly manga such as Naruto, Onepiece, and Bleach in one month makes up the same amount of contents of chapters as the monthly release does, so that definitely leaves so much opportunities when the author can take so much time for this series.
Not really. Weekly manga manage to get out much more pages in a month than monthly manga do. You get at least 4 chapters in a month when it comes to weekly manga. Each chapter is around 20 pages long so at the end of the month, you have like 80 pages done. On the other hand, monthly manga have like 40 pages per chapter so weekly manga get twice as much pages done in a month than monthy manga do. And even then, weekly manga have three or two more days worth of drawing each month even after getting the four chapters out since a month has like 30 or 31 days. Weekly manga can get much more content out in a certain period of time than a monthly manga can. They just didn't have enough time for someone like Sheele or Bulat so they had to move onto the more important characters of the series.

but F***ck I'm so mad right now cause really when it's a long running series what's the point of killing off every night raid members so early??

to develop the MC of this show who was clearly still immature and can't control his emotions like a kid. Braht had nothing to offer to the story other than helping Tatsumi grow in power and in how he handles future situations. Every? only 2 died in the anime, 1 out of the two didn't really do much other than showing how both sides have equal chances of losing.

Overrated ? how come a series that is not very well known be overrated ?
Well its just my opinion. I was talking about its popularity in the base and manga community......I've never felt excited about the release of any AGK chapter, unlike TG, Berserk, Death Note, Code Geass, Naruto, One Piece, Monster etc.!! U_U

What i don't get is why TG is being mentioned on an AGK thread, seems to be a trend ever since the anime aired.
cUZ IT'S A BETTER HORROR GENRE / MANGA.

Pointless death or not; that is opinionated. Sheele and Bulat were killed off because they had nothing to offer to the story anymore. They just aren't relevant enough other than to set up a dark mood and show that in this story, both sides have equal chances of dying. Bulat's death was meant to gave Tatsumi a Teigu and a sense of reality, to finally realize that his old ways are too light-hearted and don't mean anything in a battle. Sheele's death was just meant to set up the battle between Mine and Seryu and create a dark atmosphere.
No .

Just like Ac said above, Bulat's death was to develop Tatsumi's character and a lot of people felt sad when Shelee died , myself included , if it didn't hit you then it didn't , there was nothing wrong with it , when Teigu users fight each other one will die , this was stated since the beginning don't know why you are surprise .
Pretty much this.

Then stated as an opinion(in the first place) not a fact , which is not . If you are bother by people talking about it in an anime forum then you have issues , just don't go into the threads , no one in NB overrates the series they just like to talk about it , I'm sorry people talk or get excited about something you don't like .

Oh look TG fans once again posting about their shitty series in a thread that has nothing to do with it.

OT: Ackerman and Fenrir pretty much summed it up.

well someone upset lol.
Just like someone who feels the need to go into every Akame ga Kill thread only to call it shit and then keep on posting on it and then rank every Akame ga Kill episode or chapter each week/month with one star even though you didn't even watch or read it? Just like someone who feels the need to bring up Tokyo Ghoul in Akame ga Kill threads even though it doesn't concern Tokyo Ghoul at all merely because of the simple fact that it isn't getting as much as attention as Akame ga Kill?

Nah, it's sort of hilarious how ya'll feel the need to mention it in every AgK thread. The insecurity. Lol

There in the same genre so of course they'll be mention together, and not to mention the rivalry between young jump and shonen so ya.

but I apologize for my intrusion and side line from the topic at hand, Please continue to talk about your shitty manga/series in peace.

again my apologies.
