Which of these two should never have had power?

Tobirama or Danzo? One caused Madara's downfall (kicking him out of the chance to be hokage which is arguably why madara lost his shit) and the other caused the Uchiha massacre (ruined itachi and sasuke's life)

Danzo definitely. Hiruzen was Danzo's little puppy who couldn't make his own decisions so Danzo practically did anything he wanted. That coward can only work behind the scenes and make other people do his dirty work in the dark. If Danzo was not trying to boss everything then Hiruzen would have a mouth to talk to the Uchiha instead of trying to fight with them.

Tobirama was right to be cautious since Madara did go crazy. At his heart Tobirama had the villages best interests at heart, whilst Danzo is self-absorbed and power hungry. Danzo should never have been given so much influence, just another failure of hiruzen to govern properly.

Tobirama didn't kick Madara out, Madara left at his own will. Plus Tobirama was the one who had to smooth over hostilities after Hashirama's death. Even the third hokage admits it, not continuing the Second Hokage's work helped contribute to the events leading up to the massacre. So the obvious answer is Danzo.

Madara was the prime cause of most of the conflicts in shippuden, but becoming hokage and becoming a nice guy (which he was beginning to be) might have changed things. His brother's dying words WERE to never trust the senju

This obviously a bashing thread that's why I said fanboys, a character should never lose it's power just because they did something"bad", and if that's the case I hate obito for killing the uchiha, I hate sasuke for trying to capture killa b with any good reason, I hate orochimaru for doing experiment on little kids, and still I don't see you guys making threads about them losing their powers -_-
