I never really paid attention to the Animation design in the Pain Invasion Arc until people pointed it out. After that Arc, I start notice how crappy the Anime really was.

i still cant believe how much they ****ed up some1 as badass as pain.....
yea the animation was fluent(which is rather rare in naruto as they use very low frames/seconds) but the artwork sucked the big one... like really.... it was horrible i cant believe how people still defend that shit. ive seen fan animations which were far better... hell i could do a flip book with better quality if i had the time U_U

people who say that was god have obviously never seen another (good) anime besides naruto...

what i hate most about the anime is the fact that they use very few frames/seconds which makes all the movements etc very stiff and laggy. i also cant stand the artwork most times as many movements/figures and positions seem unnatural and strange... they also strech the episodes a bit too much out(which is the same with all animes though amd not necessarly a problem though... it just destroyes the flow sometimes.)

i really love the voice actors and the soundtrack though....but if u compare naruto with other anime youll see what i mean...

like what series? I saw hunter x hunter and it sucked! Bleach, AOT and Naruto are the best series right now

Inuyasha, samurai champloo, aot, sword art online, shaman king all have better animation and artwork quality....
inuyasha started off rather bad(it looked pretty old) but around episode 80 it got a huge upgrade and after episode 167 it got another upgrade...at the end it looked like inuyasha movie quality....
naruto shippuuden movies have awesome quality but the episodes suck the big ons

dear friend, just look at tokyo ghoul, akame ga kill, shingeki no kyoujin for a tiny example, you will see what good animation is.
another example, did you see the last episode of shippuden ? did you see how slow it was ? it felt for me as when a game lags ! how there was a "hole" of seconds after a character stops talking...that last episode was HORRIBLE, sadly, that part of the war arc is one of the best parts for me in the manga, they ruined it.
and the frame problem that ARIAN talked about, I totally agree ! what ? are they lazy ? I don't understand, naruto is one of the best mangas over there, if they can't do the job right so they should leave it to people that can do it !

and I didn't mention the FLASHBACKS, not in any other mangas I've seen this amount of FLASHBACKS, as if we were amnesic ! DAMN THIS SHIT ! they can make their fillers, then we can just look away, but they can't just ruin the canon episodes with something this retarded !

dont worry... in like 20 years i guess well have naruto shippuuden kai (like dragonball kai, with only canon stuff in it and refreshed colours and HD(basically just some edithing on the original footage instead of a all new made series...))
