I don't see Mashiro and Hiyori much stronger then Ikkaku and Yumichika, whom Hitsugaya defeated almost effortlessly (Granted he was BL). Bankai Hitsugaya soloes.

IIRC, Visored Hiyori was stomping Shikai Ichigo? Is the difference really that big between pre-TS Shikai/Base ichigo and current Bankai Hitsugaya?

I do agree that Visored Hiyori and Visored Mashiro would be comparable to Captain in shikai, but what make her difference is bankai.

pre Ts Shikai Ichigo is not same as Shikai Ichigo Vizards fought. Shikai Ichigo that Hiyori fought in my opinion is inferior to Shikai Hitsugaya by a long margin.
