It was really disappointing for me as a fan of Chrome Shell Regios to find out they weren't doing a second season. There's so much story to be told by animation. I was waiting for the second season not realizing the news on it, I still didn't fall into reading the manga. I don't want to spoil it that way. I know a lot of fans do otherwise and enjoy a great read before seeing it come to life on screen. I on the other hand don't do it for most of the anime I watch. So, there's a petition at hand, and I need more people to sign it. We the fans would love for the story to continue on screen, so we would really appreciate.. fans, non fans, and just plain manga/anime lovers to gives us some hope for this great story. Thank you so much for your time, hope you guys have a wonderful night.

Done.I signed with the name Masashi Kishimoto(although i put my old address but whatever),So if they look over this then perhaps seeing this name they will be like,"Oh schitt!! MK is among our Fans! We have to make a Season 2 in honor of his greatness!!"

Signed, though I'm not sure what use a petition will be since it basically all comes down to the amount of sales in Japan. If the anime only has 1 season and there's enough content for a second season, then a second season may be made if the show gets enough sales.

Thanks fellas. Yeah I know it might seem like we'll probably not get far with it. I'm still fighting for it though. The manga is divided into different parts. From what I saw on the wiki. It seems like season one was just that, a light novel. But there's more to be told with it. And It sucks that the first season didn't get great sale numbers. It probably didn't get marketed right. I found about late on netflix. Either way, it gives us hope. Thank you, we really appreciated it. :)

I've done a bit of research, it turns out CSR is a light novel series. The anime is a reinterpretation of the light novels rather than following the LN directly. The anime uses the same characters with an expanded group of characters. It's hard to explain, but it's similar to the situation with Rosario+Vampire. The studio uses aspects from the Manga/LN, but decides to expand on it and take it in the direction they want to. This basically means it's not dependant on sales, rather a second season depends entirely on whether or not the studio wants to do it.

I didn't realize that, but in any case, there's so much for character and story development after the season ended. Everything we saw on the intro video wasn't shown during the season. Mostly due to it being it was set prior too, there's back story and future implications left in the air. But thank you for pointing that out.
