Why did Madara trust the God Tree?

Nothing sounded fishy about the tablet to him? He knew that it wanted its chakra back so why trust it? He never wondered why the Sage would put instructions to IT on the tablet, knowing that he went with Ashura's way?

Madara was blinded by hatred and was also power-hungry at the time.

Kagaya told him to absorb her and he obeyed. I tell you Madara's plan all along was to become a woman.

I'm not talking about that. But about him trusting what was said on the tablet. Madara before he became a Jin told Harashima that they should trust the god tree. Even though there are many things about the tablet that made no sense.

Oh, ok then i get the question now. Like a comment above said, he was power hungry, loco, cucu for Kagupuffs. Lol
The guy lost his brother, he felt weak and wanted to change that = Power thirst. There really isn't an explanation for it :| Not that i can find one that sounds good. Sorry

Only the most logical of people would blindly trust a tablet. Madara believed the tablet was made/wrote by the So6P

It didn't sound like something the So6P would write. Madara knew he believed in Ashura's way up to the point of his death. So why didn't he realized that there was something off about him leaving instructions to IT on the tablet?

Power consumes a mans mind. It's Moral lessons that come in play here. Madara wanted more power so he did anything to achieve more power even ruining what he already had. Take Orochimaru for example he did gruesome experiments, all for the sake of immortality and learning all of the jutsu in existence.
