Why does Minato's cloak/bijuu mode have the markings?

Whenever I saw an explanation of why Naruto's old Kurama avatar was more a chakra bubble than a physical fox form, I recognized that it was probably because of the influence of Ashura because his avatar looks very similar

So why does Minato have that sh*t?

It has something to do with Rikudo, since Kurama's chakra along with Indra and Ashura's is needed for Hagoromo to be able to manifest.

Narutos cloak isn't like the regular ones because his seal is designed to combine his and kuramas chakra once he controls hit hatred
Also the seal changed from kuramas chakra combining with narutos
I guess it's the same with minato but his markings are different than narutos

Bijuu mode is when you get the chakra directly from kurama
and kyubi mode is when naruto took the chakra from kurama when he fought him.

Kyubi mode you can activate by ur self
Bijuu mode you need the tail beast cooperation

He only needed kurama's chakra because it was part of the Juubi. Any other bijuu would've worked

Kurama probably just has the markings, it's Kurama that's special hence the markings/sage
